Ascension Salon and Spa of Annapolis has been a household name since 1988, when our first salon opened in Glen Burnie under the name Vincent's Masterpiece International. In 1998 we moved to Annapolis, near what is now the new Annapolis Towne Centre and in 2009, we changed our name to Ascension Salon and Spa.
Vincent Wright, the owner and lead hair designer of Ascension has been proud to be associated with talented hair designers, skin care specialists and nail technicians throughout his long-standing career. Vincent was first introduced to the art of hair design through instruction at his Uncle's barbershop in 1963. In the seventies, he attended The Vidal Sassoon Academy for Advanced Education in London, England, and went on to become an Instructor with them until 1980. His travels took him from London to San Francisco, Beverly Hills and then back to Maryland, where he worked as a Senior Designer with Victoria & Albert Hair Studio until opening Vincent's Masterpiece in 1988.

Chrissy has been a Hairstylist since 1997 and has worked in the Annapolis area for most of her career. Chrissy believes in continuing her education and staying in the know on the latest styles- attending many classes over the years. She is an Eufora Elite Team member and is certified in many areas in this industry. She is also a Kemon color specialist, enjoys doing Cezanne Smoothing treatments and is certified in DreamCatchers Hair extensions. Chrissy enjoys working with her guests to ensure full communication on what the desired result will be. Chrissy loves to make people look and feel their best! 
Nothing gives me greater joy than when a client is excited about her hair and says she has found someone who truly listens to what she wants! I LOVE styling a client's hair in a way that complements her face and makes her feel beautiful. While I have been working as a stylist for more than 35 years, I have never lost my love for what I do. I enjoy continuing to learn and am always developing new skills. I regularly train, not only in our salon but also at other venues; I have recently trained in New York, Virginia, and Ocean City, to name a few. Learning new color techniques, cuts, highlights, and other up to date trends keep me fresh and current. I look forward to helping you create a new style that is all your own! 
Hello, my name is Donna and I'd like to tell you a little bit about myself. The most important thing to know about me is my relationship with my clients. Yes, I have 30 years experience in hairstyling; yes, I continue to receive extensive training in all aspects of hair design; and yes, I am an Elite team member for Eufora and have a love for the plant based, healthy for hair, body & environment products. However, the most important and enjoyable part of my job is my client base. I love what I do because my clients reward me everyday with their enthusiasm for trying something new and different and their appreciation and joy when they take that final look in the mirror. Having clients return month after month for many years gives me satisfaction in knowing that I have not only the expertise for hair styling, but also THE creativity and vision for each INDIVIDUAL'S life style.

Listening, truly listening, to a client's desire, and then taking that vision and making it work with the nature of the hair to bring that 'ahh, yes!" moment at the mirror. Boom! That's what Michelle is all about. Michelle graduated from Annapolis Beauty Academy in 1989. After working in many of Annapolis' name salons for 27 years, Michelle joined the team at Ascension to continue to cultivate her talent. Her mastery of highlighting techniques andpenchant for working with short hair has led to a devoted clientele following. On a more literal plane, Michelle lives in Edgewater with her husband and two teenage children. 
Being a hairdresser for over 30 years has been my passion and privilege. There is nothing more gratifying, as a hair designer, and having my guess look in the mirror, smile and know that I play a part of them feeling good about themselves. I believe you never stop learning or creating something new. Every guest is a new opportunity to be creative and get to know them on a more personal level.I continue to go to classes. Always looking for something new to apply behind the chair. Whether it be classic lines or edgy spikes. Color techniques, men's hair designs, formal styling for those special occasions, or fun braids for your little girl, it is always tailored for you! 
Hollie has been a licensed, practicing esthetician for 20 plus years. She has extensive knowledge in skincare and skin analysis. Hollie makes a point to do regular research of skincare products and their ingredients. She uses the Instituite Esthederm product line,along with a variety of organic enzyme peels. She is a certified practitioner of the Acupressure/Shiatsu Lifelift Treatment LLC. Hollie is also a Reiki I practitioner, and has studied energy work for 20 plus years. Continuing education in her field is a must for her. Hollie's ability to combine energy work with her facial treatments make Hollie's facials like no other! Hollie's forte is her ability to connect with her clients and met their skincare needs.
